Armenian Non-alcoholic Beer to Be Exported to Iran

120 new jobs to be offered by newly opened “Dilijan” beer factory in Dilijan, Tavush province. For the first 6 month, specialists from Yerevan will train the local residents, who are expected to comprise the main staff of the factory.

“Dilijan” factory has 10 million liters of manufacturing capacity. The production is expected to be realized in local market as well as to be exported to Russia, the USA and Georgia. The owners also plan to produce non-alcoholic beer to export to Iran.

Since 2013, 2.5 billion drams have been invested, and the government postponed for 3 years the VAT payments period for a part of the equipment imported by the company.

The opening ceremony of the factory was attended by the President Serzh Sargsyan. The factory belongs to “H Ev T Hakobyanner” enterprise.
