Decision of establishing Consulate General in Kapan remains in force - Russian Foreign Ministry

On 23 October, Armenia will take part in negotiations in the 3+3 format in Tehran at the level of foreign ministers. Press Secretary of the Armenian Foreign Ministry Ani Badalyan announced this on 22 October.

On 20 October, the United States and the European Union made public a joint statement following the US-EU Summit. As stated in a statement published on the website of the European Commission, the parties are deepening cooperation to reflect the pressing challenges and opportunities of the time. “We are more united than ever,” the statement said.

On 19 October the Austrian Parliament unanimously adopted a resolution condemning the ethnic cleansing of the Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh carried out by Azerbaijan, the Armenian Embassy in Austria reported.

Armenia’s security and territorial integrity have recently become part and parcel of any discussion about this country’s future. The security of Armenia is defined mainly in terms of military force, and of inviolability of its borders. Yet there is a large internal dimension of security that the general public in Armenia tends to either downplay or forget altogether.
