Artsakh president Arayik Harutyunyan has stated that no document on Nagorno-Karabakh was discussed by the Armenian National Security Council. Harutyunyan attended the National Security Council held on 15 September, which discussed the situation.
“Following the discussion I would like to underline it once again that for the time being no document is being discussed on the status of Artsakh,” Harutyunyan wrote on his Facebook account.
The Artsakh president also wrote that that in discussions with Armenian officials he underlined that the will of the Nagorno-Karabakh people to live in a free and independent country is not negotiable. “The Armenian officials confirmed once again that no document will be signed without discussing the matter with Artsakh authorities and taking into consideration our people’s opinion,” Harutyunyan stated.
