One person was wounded when Azerbaijani Armed Forces violated the ceasefire near Tchankatagh, in the Martakert district, the Artsakh Defense Army statement says on 3 September.
The Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Ministry said Azeri forces fired small arms and AGS-17 automatic grenade launchers at a water tanker in the village. The shooting occurred around 14:20. The wound sustained is not life-threatening, the reports says.
As of 15:30 the situation on the line of contact was relatively stable, the ministry of defense of Nagorno-Karabakh added.
Later in the day the Defense Army also dismissed Azerbaijani allegations on “preventing attempted fortifications buildup” in the district of Askeran.
Meanwhile on 3 September the Armenian Defense Ministry reported that military positions near the village of Kutakan in Gegharkunik province came under Azerbaijani gunfire in the early hours of that day. No reports of any losses was.
Earlier the Defense Ministry reported of the death of two servicemen, including one private and one Major, due to an accident during blasting operations at ca. 17:30 local time on 2 September.
