On October 16, the Government of Armenia will organize a special flight from Tel Aviv to Yerevan to facilitate the voluntary relocation to homeland for Armenian nationals and members of their families for security reasons, the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry reported.
The report notes that the list of persons included on the flight was compiled on the basis of applications submitted to the Armenian Embassy in Israel and the Armenian Foreign Ministry. When compiling the list, the order of application was taken into account, as well as the presence of children and the principle of non-separation of families.
The press service of the ministry reminds that, including through the embassy in Israel, it is constantly monitoring the development of the situation in order to take additional measures if necessary.
It is also noted that at the moment there is no data on the presence of Armenian citizens and Armenians among those injured as a result of the hostilities.
As Sputnik Armenia reports, citing Lilit Aghabekyan, assistant to the head of the Civil Aviation Committee of Armenia, 220 citizens will be returned to Yerevan. It is noted that a special flight of Armenian Airlines is scheduled for 13:00 Yerevan time.
