Prime Minister of Armenia received US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State

On 24 October Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Southern European and Eurasian Affairs Joshua Huck. This was reported by the press service of the Prime Minister.


As noted in the report, during the meeting the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of US efforts in the process of settling Armenian-Azerbaijani relations, and also touched upon the forced resettlement of more than 100 thousand of our compatriots from Nagorno-Karabakh as a result of Azerbaijan’s policy of ethnic cleansing and the current humanitarian situation. He noted the importance of international support in solving existing problems.

“The interlocutors discussed issues related to the settlement of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations, unblocking regional transport infrastructures based on the principles of territorial integrity, sovereignty, jurisdiction and reciprocity, delimitation of the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as peace and stability in the region. An exchange of views took place on the Armenia-US cooperation agenda,” the reasdout says.
