Rationed distribution of bread launched in Artsakh capital

A coupon system for bread sales will be introduced in Stepanakert, the Public TV of Arstakh said in a video report aired the day before.

“There is a shortage of flour and therefore, of bread. In view of that it was decided to organize the sale of bread exclusively for coupons,” told the TV Vahram Arakelyan, the Arstakh Minister of Social Development and Migration.

The distribution of coupons started on 4 September in nine specialized centers.

The rations are set to be 200 grams per person, while coupons are distributed for eight days ahead.

Earlier rationing of bread was introduced in the districts of Martuni, Martakert and Askeran.
