Truce announced on Armenia-Azerbaijan border – Russian senior MP

Russian MP Grigoriy Karasin, heading the Defense Committee of the Federation Council announced that truce was declared on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border since 9 AM.    


"It turned possible to achieve a truce announced by 9:00 today," Karasin said as quoted. 

“The truce on the border of Armenia and Azerbaijan was achieved thanks to the efforts of Russia, including after the conversation between the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikola Pashinyan and the efforts by the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. there is a lot of work to be done on the border of these two countries, since Yerevan turned to the CSTO,” told Karasin to the RIA News agency.
