World’s longest zip-line will open next year in Armenia

This August Yell Extreme Park, located in Tavush region, celebrated its two years anniversary. While hundreds of guests were enjoying live shows by Aram MP3, Nemra rock band and other artists, and of course trying extreme entertainment (most notably zip-line and paragliding), the main topic of the day was the world’s longest zip-line - Park’s ambitious project.

Yell’s first zip-line flight was opened in 2015. Now there are five lines in the park, the longest one is 750m with the height of 200-300m and the speed of 5-7m/s. As park’s co-founder Tigran Chibukchyan said on the press-conference, the new zip-line will be 2680 m long and have the height of approximately 250 m. “There will be 4 parallel Zip-lines from the place of Yell Extreme Park to the village of Yenokavan. We are going to set a new record of Guinness Records book and we want the highest Yell to be heard from the Yell Park”, he told the journalists.
This year Yell Extreme Park also organized a crowdfunding campaign and managed to raise more than 20,000 dollars.
