A documentary about twin sisters Amy and Ano, who were reunited after being separated at birth due to child trafficking in Georgia, was published on the BBC in early 2024. The film centers on journalist Tamuna Museridze, who became known for her research into thousands of similar stories. The movie brought the case to the attention of a global audience. Today, Tamuna receives letters with similar stories from all over the world. She intends to take the victims’ cases to Georgian courts, hoping to gain access to their birth documents and free them from the ghosts of the past.

On 4 September the Russian official news agency TASS published an article based on a conversation with an unnamed diplomat denouncing several points expressed by the Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his team. “It may happen that one morning we wake up and see that Russia is no more here,” Pashinyan has said in an interview with the Italian La Repubblica, reminding that it had happened twice over the 20th century.

The Russian news agency TASS on September 4 published a lengthy article about a conversation with an unnamed "diplomatic source" about the Kremlin's position on Yerevan's foreign policy.

Following the attack on the Azerbaijani embassy in Iran at the end of January 2023, the previously unprecedented tension between the two countries is gradually easing. While relations between Iran and Azerbaijan have been tense since the 2020 Artsakh war, the situation escalated further after the attack on the embassy. The primary cause of the tension lies in Iran's unchanged stance on the so-called "Zangezur Corridor" issue.
